Initially falling in love while working in NYC’s fashion industry, we started a textile design studio and then worked at major upscale fashion houses designing bestselling print collections. Our innovative ideas are inspired by everything that surrounds us including our love for culture, food, friends, and family.

Sitka is the print creator. He is both a fine artist and textile designer thus each piece of linen he hand paints becomes a canvas for an incredible masterpiece that flows through his mind and body. Originally from Southern Turkey and educated in England, Sitka’s diverse background has enabled him to create prints that reflect his life experiences.

Sitka Home was created by Sitka and Helaine to inspire and share the love of hand-painted art on home decor and more.

Our vision for Sitka Home is to create beautiful collections of prints on fabric that express the powerful energy of color and surface design that reflect our unique artistic approach. Most of our decorative pillows are individually painted on linen and all hand signed by Sitka, to create a collectible piece of art.

We love sharing our thoughts about interesting patterns, colors, and textures with everyone we meet. Our enthusiasm is contagious and our passion shines through in the way we live our lives.

Helaine is the imaginative concept creator, the harmonious counterpart that balances the relationship. Her role focuses on the interior design of the gallery, her precise placement helps liven the space even more. She is a textile designer and perfectionist in all technical development. Her inspiration comes from her summers in Cape Cod and her extensive experience as a designer in NYC.
